About Dr. Zelig Shevin
Zelig was a physician who practiced in the Chicago area. Many newspapers reported the story of his resignation from Jackson Park Hospital, where he had practiced for many years, over the refusal of the hospital to admit a Japanese-American woman who was his patient.
