In which her full name is given as Maria Magdalena, her place of birth as Saarbrücken, Saarland, and that she worked at the University of Cologne as Dr. med (this may have caused the confusion in her original home town) before working in the department of infectious diseases at the Virchow Krankenhaus in Berlin. Indeed, she had her own career as either private-practice doctor or as assistant physician in a hospital.

It is also stated that she was Roman Catholic (i.e. probably not from a Jewish family) "until 1942".
