Doba (Tova) Sussel, my grandmother. She was born on July 8, 1916, immigrated to Palestine as a pioneer in 1938, married Arye (George) Manasse, my grandfather, on June 14, 1938, and had my mother Ada in 1940. In the 1950s, they all immigrated to the United States. My grandmother died in Baltimore, MD, USA in 1984, and my grandfather died in 1997. My mother married Zvi Grodzinsky, and had three children, me (Tali married to David Zemel in 1989), Ron (married to Ilene Apollo), and Gil (married to Klara Cohn). Tali, Ron, and Gil all live in the US, and we all have children. (B) Hadassah (Odes) Sussel (C) Yochevet Sussel (D) Chaim Sussel Out of Moshe Sussel's family, only Doba Sussel's family line survived. Moshe, Chana, Hadassah, Yochevet, and Chaim Sussel were all killed in the Holocaust (we believe most in Treblinka) on or around 1942. This was also the fate of most of the Jews of Bransk.
