Ebenezer Jordan, #2

Ebenezer Jordan, son of Nathaniel and Mary (Cutlevier) Jordan, was born in 1742, at Spurwink, now Cape Elizabeth, Cumberland Co., Maine. He married, first, March 5, 1765, Lucy Tarbox, born at Biddeford, Maine. He married, second, Judith Treworgy, mother of Betsey T. Treworgy who married his son, Solomon.

Ebenezer served in the Revolutionary War as a Corporal in Capt. Tobias Lord's co.; service from May 31, 1776, to Nov. 25, 1776, 5 mos. 25 days; company stationed at Falmouth for defense of seacoast; also, as Matross in Capt. Abner Lowell's co. of matrosses; service from Jan. 1, 1777, to March 31, 1777, 3 mos.; company stationed at Falmouth, Cumberland Co., Maine.
