Ebenezer King of Watertown

Not the same as Ebenezer King of Tiverton

NOTE: In his otherwise fairly accurate 1898 book on the family of Clement King, author George Austin Morrison equates the Ebenezer King of Tiverton, Rhode Island---a proven son of Clement King---with that Ebenezer King of Watertown and Cambridge, Massachusetts who married 1699 Hannah Manning; INCORRECT: THESE ARE TWO DISTINCT AND SEPARATE INDIVIDUALS;

Ebenezer King of Watertown (parentage unknown) died at Cambridge in 1710, while Ebenezer King of Tiverton was still living there about 1718 (his son Ebenezer King was born there 1719); moreover, both men had daughters named Mary with proven (and very different) adult histories. The precise Year of Birth of Ebenezer King, son of Clement King, is unknown, but given his likely Year of Marriage (1703), about 1680 seems reasonable.
