1784 Dec. 22, Jennings, Jacob Sr. of Somerset Co.; Will of
Ebenezer was an alderman and had the power of three magistrates, and when the Colonials declared independence, he was one of them. He was an officer in the New Jersey Militia, verified number 292752. The English Government offered a thousand dollars for his head taken dead or alive.
