Eddie Donohue

Mr. Donohue, age 58, died at Veterans Hospital, Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., OH, of pulmonary edema and hyperemia with Laemec's cirrhosis with hepatic failure.

On 13 July 1929, he married (1.) Shirley Odoro Medessa Welshans, b. 14 Apr 1914, d. 6 Nov 1986, in Brooke Co, WV, and they were divorced in Mahoning Co, OH. Born of this union was a son, Ralph Harold Donohue, b 2 Apr 1930, d. 1 Apr 1999.

He married (2.) Edith Mariconi, daughter of Frank and Louise Delia Mariconi on 19 December 1937, at Mahoning Co, OH. On 30 Oct 1940, his wife, step-son, George, and brother, Harvey, were killed in a car-train accident near Alliance.

He began military service on 10 Sept 1942 in the U.S. Army during World War II and was honorably discharged on 7 Oct 1945.
