About Edmund Grandy, Sr.

Leonard, printer, 1882, p. 324 -- "Grandy, Edmund, settled in Northfield, Mass., soon after 1719. He had sons, John, b. 1720, and Parker, b. 1730. John is said to have been a noted hunter, and, together with his brother, Parker, settled in Chfd. as early as 1770. John Grandy, Junior, who was imprisoned at Charlestown, in November, 1781, (see Chap. III) was probably John's son. The name of John Grandy (Sen. or Jun.) does not appear after 1787."
