The Eduard Stricker of Budapest who died June 5, 1897 at age 72 (b. 1825); death notice in Pester Lloyd, is a relative.

Son Moises Stricker, born Feb. 25, 1857 in Vagujhely. Parents' names given as Eduard Stricker, Haus No. 16, and Rosalia geb. Schenk. There was a Rosalia geb. Schenk, but she was the sister of Eduard's wife Cecilia. The Rabbi writing the record apparently mixed up the Schenk sisters.

Philipp Stricker died Dec. 13, 1921, survived by wife Josefine and 3 brothers -- Heinrich, Max, Adolf -- per NFP death notice. His relative by the same name born in Vagujhely 6 months earlier is the Philipp (Fulop) Stricker who changed his name to Sági.
