City Health Officer of Rizal City

Born in Calamba, Laguna, on October 13, 1901; son of Tomás B. Canicosa and Juana Vera; educated in public and private schools, having obtained his A.A. in 1926 from the University of Sto. Tomás and his M.D. degree form the same university in 1931; appointed president of the sanitary division of Mariquina, San Mateo and Montalban, Rizal, June 1, 1933, and was transferred to Pasay, Rizal on December 1, 1933, having served as president of the sanitary division up to September 5, 1947, when he was appointed City Health Officer of Rizal City, which position he still holds. Married to Cecilia Geukeko, of Malabon, Rizal, with whom he has four children, Marieta, Tomás, Maximino, and Ofelia.
