Curator's Note: Edward never married. On the 1880 Census his name is directly below Jennie Clarke, listed as a daughter-in-law of Samuel Strong Clarke. Some internet sites infer that she is Edward's wife. Jennie is Lydia Jane Clarke , the wife of his brother Samuel. -- Jessica Marie German
