Edward Coen

This Canadian birthplace is surely wrong. Other sites say he was born in New York City, which is far more plausible. For instance, Is father was born and died in England. Edward spoke with an English accent.

He was a professor of economics at the University of Minnesota. I knew him as my professor, for one quarter in 1968, and my adviser, who helped me get into graduate school. He was a great teacher and an all-around wonderful person.
