Funeral services will be held today for Edward C. Consalvi of Up-ton, a retired construction company owner. He died Friday after a short illness in Milford-Whitinville Regional Hospital. He was 83.
Born in Somerville, Mr. Consalvi graduated from Somerville High School.
In the late 1940s, he started his own company, the Medford Remodeling Co. He retired and closed the business in 1989.
He leaves his daughter, Dale Bozzio-MeKenzie of Upton; two sons, Edward M. of North Chelmsford and Brian E. of North Conway, N.H.; one sister, Ann Pedgeon of Bourne; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, Med-ford. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden
