Edward Gliha

Bainbridge - Edward H. Gliha Sr., 54, of Bainbridge RD3, died at his home Sunday (April 5, 1970). He was born Feb. 15, 1916 in Forest City, Pa., a son of John and Louise(Brager)Gliha. He married Agnes Bennett who died in 1967. He was employed by the Borden Corporation here. Surviving are a daughterMrs. Blanche Butts of Dover, N.J.; two sons, Edward Gliha Jr. of Sidney and John Gliha of Bainbridge; three grandchildren, Donald, Sophia and Karensaa Butts, all of Masonville; four sisters, Mrs. Fitcher(Anne)Depew of New Jersey, Mrs. Frank(Louise)Bosh of Browndale, Pa., Mrs. Stanley(Mary)Pasavage of Forest City, Pa.; and Mrs. Thomas(Betty)Williams of Vandling, Pa.; four brothers, William Gliha, Forest City, Pa., and Fred, Raymond and Frank Gliha, all of Connecticut. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A requiem Mass will be offered at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Church, Bainbridge, the Rev. Peter Gleba, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Greenlawn Cemetery, Bainbridge. Friends may call at the F.J. Terhune Funeral Home here from 2-4 and 7-9 tonight. [Newspaper obit]
