Ed co-owned Horn Construction in Lafayette, Indiana with his Father and Brothers untill 1966. Then he and his family moved to Brownsburg, Indiana. There he was a Journeyman Carpenter untill 1977 when he suffered a stroke.
Edward Eugene Horn, 69, died Monday, Feb. 21, 1992, in Brownsburg, where he had lived the past 26 years. orn Dec. 8, 1922, in Lafayette, he married Emma Louise Byers on August 15, 1954, and she survives.
Mr. Horn was a journeyman/carpenter in the construction business for 30 years, 26 years in Indianapolis. He retired in 1977. He formerly was a partner in the Horn Construction Co. in Lafayette. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, and the Association of Retired Carpenters.
Surviving with his wife are four daughters, Katherine Horn of Gaithersburg, MD, Susan Truax of Pittsboro, IN, Karen Niswonger of Tampa, FL, and Linda Horn of Gainesville, FL; a sister, Bernice Benjamin of San Diego, CA; two brothers, Martin Horn of Rossville and Melvin Horn of Lafayette; and two grandchildren.
