Edward Howe of Watertown, MA was born January 1, 1587 (source?) and died 24 June 1644 and was married to Margaret Wells, born August 16, 1610. He was a freeman of Watertown May 14, 1634. Elder, selectman and rep. 1635, 1636, and 1639. Lawsuit against Dudley. His widow married George Bunker and she made her will 8 April 1647, proved 18 Dec 1660. She gave ½ her estate to Nathaniel Treadway, who married her daughter, Sufferance. She gave 2/3 of the remaining ½ to John Stone who married her other child, Anne. The remainder was given to sister, Mary Rogers and her children; John and Elizabeth Rogers of Boxstead, Essex County, England.
