Born on July 16, 1756 in Newberry, South Carolina, he was the grandson of Jean LeVelle who came to Virginia from France in about 1715. Patriot Levell's service record has been lost in time. He died on January 16, 1832 at age 75.

Biography Edward Levell

Patriot Levell was the first of the Revolutionary veterans to settle in the DeKalb Co. GA area, arriving in 1825. Born on July 16, 1756 in Newberry, South Carolina, he was the grandson of Jean LeVelle who came to Virginia from France in about 1715. Patriot Levell's service record has been lost in time.
