Allen had 12 children. The last three wereFanny (born about 1820), Thomas (1822) and Mary Polly (born February 8, 1823).
The house Allen built around 1820 of brick fired on his farm still is occupied in 2011. It is a 2 story home of solid brick. The pumphouse behind probably was a summer kitchen. It sat on Allen's 1200 acre farm. Allen and severl of his descendants are buried across the road in Dugan Smith Semetary. The cemetary and his home are located East of Livingston Tennessee in the Joppa Community.
