About Edward William Traylor, Jr
The line before Edward Traylor (husband of Martha Randolph) is a fraudulent lineage. Google “Gustave Anjou”. He is noted as a fraudulent genealogist. Also see Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. A history blogger in Wales ( The Radnorian) stated that the Traylor name came from TREYLOW. I have been to Wales a couple of times and located a marker several miles northwest of Presteigne, Wales which reads “Maes TREYLOW “ (Meadows of TREYLOW). Also located family plot at the church in Presteigne of Traylor family. There is also an Edwin Traylor trophy given out each year to the soccer champion in Presteigne. The first resident of the poor house in Presteigne was a Traylor man. I have also found a woman in Bromyard, England (just across the border from Wales) who in the 1590s requested subsistence from the city council since she wa disabled and destitute. They allowed her six shillings per month. NOTE: Gustave Anjou prepared the false lineage for a Traylor who lived in New York City in the early 1900s. Also Edward Traylor sailed from Bristol, England which is across the bay from Cardiff, Wales. Presteigne, Wales is approx, 90 miles north from Bristol, England.
