Edwin Scholes

Edwin Scholes , was born in 1877 and died in 1947.

Edwin married Rose Ann Lucy Manuel (b 1881- 1922),1898 and they had 10 children, they are as follows:

1. Edwin Cecil born 04/05/1899 at Uralla and married Marjorie Brines in Tamworth in 1923. They had 3 children: James, Ronald and Noelene.

2. Ruby Gladys born 19/08/1900 in Tamworth, New South Wales and married Victor Hyson in Tamworth, 1925. They had 5 children: Lucy, Ivy, Betty, Verlie and Ray.

3. Clara born May 1903 in Tamworth and married John Turner in Tamworth, 1930. They had children: Max and Rex.

4. Doris born July 1904 in Tamworth and married R. Stengert in Manilla, 1927. They had 3 children: Lily, Ernest and Marie.

5. Eva born 1st February, 1906 in Tamworth and married Edmond Hobden in Tamworth. They had 3 children: Cecil, Donald and Voila.

6. Cyril born 28th July, 1907 in Tamworth and married Mona Easterman in Manilla, 1934

7. Elizabeth aka Bessie born March, 1909 in Tamworth and married James Lawson, 1927. They had 2 children: Robert and Heather.

8. Lily born 1st February, 1911 in Tamworth and married Joseph Hobbs, 1927 in Tamworth.

9. May born March, 1912 in Tamworth and married Alan McDonald, 1960.

10 Harold born 17th November, 1914 in Tamworth and married Sarah Gallagher, 1941 in Tamworth. They have 4 children: Dianne, Cyril, Gai and Terry.
