From the FindaGrave Memorial
MRS. LEO LAWSON DIES Effie Adella, 36 year old wife of Leo Lawson of Umanpine, died on Januray 22, 1925 at her home. Death came after a 30 minute illness from heart trouble, superinduced from goitre.
Mrs. Lawson was born in Milton, her parents being Mr. and Mrs. William Wilson of that city who with three sisters, Olive Austin, Ferndale; Mrs. Tom Staley, Freewater; Pearl Obert, Milton; three brothers, William, Elmer and Archie, all living above Milton survive her. Her husband and two daughters, Christine and Leona also mourn her loss.
The funeral was held from the Munselle Chapel, Milton at 2:30, Saturday afternoon, Rev. Mariatt of the Umapine United Brethern church in charge.
About 150 friends and relatives of the deceased woman attested by their presence and the beautiful floral offerings, the respect in which she was held in the Umapine and Milton communities where she spent her live. A tribute composed of Mrs. Gallaher, Mrs. Edwin March and E. E. Hurley sang three beautiful selections.
Interment was made in the I.O.O.F. cemetery of Milton.
