Effie A Troyer

Effie A. Troyer 92, of Dundee, passed away at Summa Health in Akron on Sunday, July 24, 2022 following a short illness. She was born on January 7, 1930 to the late Andrew and Mattie (Gingerich) Yoder. On December 13, 1956 she married Alvin A. Troyer who preceded her in death on December 13, 2008. Effie was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Fellowship. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and generously volunteered her time at the blood mobile and the Trading Post Thrift Store.

She is survived by her children, David (Freda) Troyer of Utica, Ohio, Paul (Betty) Troyer of Millersburg, Linda (Reuben) Beachy of Dundee, Marie (Tim) Miller of Walnut Creek, Joann (Jake) Coblentz of Millersburg, Jerry (Rosann) Troyer of Shreve, Larry (Myrna) Troyer of Millersburg; son-in-law, Shawn (Marnita) Miller of Sugarcreek; 23 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters, Emma (Floyd) Miller of Sugarcreek, Susan (Roman) Miller of Mt Eaton, Ella (Paul) Stutzman of Millersburg, Mahala (John) Mast of Crossville, Tennessee; and a sister-in-law, Malinda (late Mel) Yoder of Millersburg.

In addition to her parents and her husband Alvin, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Julie Miller; grandsons, Matthias Morgan Troyer and Christian Troyer; and two brothers, Mel Yoder and Atlee Yoder.

Funeral services will be held at Bethel Fellowship, 4183 SR 39, Millersburg, on Tuesday, July 26, at 10:00 AM with Pastor Judson Schrock officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call at Bethel Fellowship from 1-3 and 5-8 PM on Monday.
