About Einion ap Llywarch
See Darrell Wolcott, http://www.ancientwalesstudies.org/id187.html, "The Children of Lord Rhys," for untangling of these lines. (April 21, 2016, Anne Brannen, curator)

Please see Darrell Wolcott: Pedigree of Madog ap Idnerth; http://www.ancientwalesstudies.org/id267.html; [#107]. (Steven Ferry, June 19, 2021.)
Please see Peter Bartrum: Llywarch ap Bran 8; https://www.geni.com/documents/view?doc_id=6000000173393115868 [NOTE: Bartrum charts Einion ap Llywarch as a son of Llywarch ap Bran, while Darrell Wolcott makes him a grandson of Owain ap Idnerth found in Elystan Glodrydd 49; https://www.geni.com/documents/view?doc_id=6000000173390904845. His reasoning is: "Several things led me to making this correction. First, there seemed to be an early tendency by some writers to add "ap Bran" to any Llywarch, much like those who wanted to add "ap Cynfyn" to any Bleddyn. All the folks Bartrum charted as descending from this Einion ap Llywarch lived in the Brychieniog/Glamorgan area. There was no gwely in 1352 in Anglesey for any Einion ap Llywarch as there were for Llywarch ap Bran's sons Iorwerth, Cadwgan and Madog. Griffith's Pedigrees of Anglesey, etc give no son named Einion to Llywarch ap Bran. Williams' "Biological Dictionary of Eminent Welshmen" also gives him no such son. I don't recall what factors led me to attach this Einion ap Llywarch to Owain ap Idnerth, but it is consistent with the timeline and the geography of the family."] (Steven Ferry, April 13, 2024.)
