Eleanor Eden

Eleanor Elliot was born in 1758.2 She was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Gilbert Elliot, 3rd Bt. and Agnes Dalrymple-Murray-Kynynmound.1 She married William Eden, 1st Baron Auckland, son of Sir Robert Eden, 3rd Bt. and Mary Davison, on 26 September 1776.1 She died on 18 May 1818 at Eden Farm, Beckenham, Kent, England.2 Her will was probated in June 1818.2

    Her married name became Eden. As a result of her marriage, Eleanor Elliot was styled as Baroness Auckland in 1789.
