About Eleanor/Elizabeth Trewennack, II
Eleanor Julian was connected by marriage to James Trewennack, reportedly married in September 1800 in Helston, Cornwall. Clearly this would be impossible considering Eleanor Julian would only have been 1 year old at the time. The Eleanor Julian who married James Trewennack was according to some sources a widow, meaning her maiden name was most likely not Julian. It would seem two different Eleanor Julians, approximately 20 years separated in age, have been muddled. Additionally, there is no record of the birth of a child named Eleanor Julian in Mawgan in Meneage in 1799. There is however a record of ELIZABETH Julian being born in 1799 in Mawgan in Meneage to Nicholas and Eleanor Julian. Due to other tree connections, this error, unclear as it still is, can not fully be rectified, leaving Mary Jane Bowden linked to Eleanor/Elizabeth as her daughter. Further confirmation and collaboration with other members is required.
