Mrs William Emmerich dies; rites Saturday

DIETERICH - Mrs William (Eleanor) Emmerich, 86, of rural Wheeler, died at 7:45 pm Wednesday at the Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.

The funeral will be at 10:30 am Saturday at the Island Grove St Joseph Catholic Church, rural Teutopolis, with burial in the Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 pm Friday with an 8 pm rosary at Wright Funeral Home in Dieterich.

Mrs Emmerich was born March 29, 1895 in Jasper County, the daughter of Michael and Matilda Lustig Lux. She was a member of the St Joseph Catholic Church and a charter member of the Jasper County Home Extension. She married William E. Emmerich in 1919, who preceded her in death in 1962.

Surviving are a son, Donald of rural Wheeler; daughters, Jewel Bauman and Collie Worcester, both of Newton; eight grand- children and eight great- grandchildren.
