Eleanor Morgan of Wurtsboro, a retired seamstress with Barbara Quilting, Port Jervis and lifetime resident of the area, died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 1998, in Horton Medical Center, Middletown. She was 73.

The daughter of Cora Heater Searle and the late Leonard Heater, she was born April 2, 1925, in Matamoras, Pa.

She was the widow of James J. Morgan.

A family statement read: "She loved her children, her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. Earlier in life, she was an avid fisherman."

Survivors include her mother, Cora Heater Searle, Seattle, Wash.; two daughters, Diana Everside of Amarillo, Texas and Mary Madden of Wurtsboro; two sons, James Morgan Jr. of No. Hudson and John Morgan of Circleville; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephes.

Burial will be in Rural Valley Cemetery, Cuddebackville.
