About Eleanor Rose Wilhelm
Eleanor was married to Franklin Joseph "Sammy" Wilhelm, a professional house painter. Eleanor, had a degree in journalism from Marquette University (graduated 11 June 1930) as, I believe, also did Margaret, Mary and Martha. Ed Harrigan helped pay their way through school. I remember, Eleanor, used her degree a lot while the kids were growing up at 3056 N. 61st St. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. Every time she got wind of a news event she'd be on the phone gathering facts and phoning them in to the Milwaukee Journal and to WTMJ or to one of the local stations.
I remember that Gerald (Jerry) and Francis (now known as Frank) also had a worm farm in the basement and they sold a lot of bait to fishermen. Jerry bought his first car "cash on the barrel head" with the money he saved from selling worms. He was the saver in that family! The rest of his siblings weren't really as good at saving money as Jerry was.
Eleanor worked in The Boston Store.
