Eleanor is named in her father's will (John Middleton Sr), written in 1795, as "Eleanor Patterson". She is said to have remarried in 1789 to John Patterson, though I have not yet found the documentation, except the mention of her name in the will.

She is also a distributee in her mother's will, 1825 - Elizabeth Middleton, as "Elenor Patterson". Therefore, I have changed the date of her death from April of 1787, to a date sometime after 1825.

Additional note -

There is a gravesite in Newbury, Georgiafor an Elinor Middleton, d. 1831, however this Elenor is wife of a James, not John, Patterson, and according to Find A Grave, this Elenor's surname is not Middleton. The date and locale of Elenor Middleton Norwood Patterson's death is undetermined, as are the details of her marriage to John Patterson. John Middleton's will also refers to daughter Frances Middleton as "Frances Patterson" though does not mention the given name of her husband.
