1840-in Oye, Kvinesdal at the christening of his nephew, Abraham Antonisen in Kvinesdal.

1846-Nov 19-To Stavanger-Noted in Migration Kvinesdal Kirke, pg 258-Elias Edvardsen Oye, 31 aar.

Elias Evertsen from Kvinesdal b.1815, m. to Karen Aanensdatter from Bjelland. Children: Ole Mathias 1847 (b. at Stavanger), Eline c.1850-56, Kristian Elias 1854, Emalia 1855, Johannes Enelius Emil 1857, Andrea Kasine Eline 1859, Konrad Emanuel 1864, Johan Arnt Johannes Adolf 1866-71. A couple more perhaps died young. There was also a daughter Anna Teodora Eliasdatter who in 1884 had a son Johan Arnt Johannes Adolf by Ole Olsen Moi of V-je in Oddernes.

    'Elias and Karen came to Kviljo from Stavanger.  In 1862 some of the farm was sold to Abraham Kristensen (see farm no. 24). And in 1885 the rest went through a forced sale to Abraham Abrahamsen Hanager.  He sold it in 1895 to Olav Starheim 1858-1958, a teacher.'

This is not a complete account of the family and holds some errors.

On p. 497 are two photographs of Starheim's house. The house is probably the one in which Elias Edvardsen and his family lived.
