ELIAS HOUSE (son of Mark HAUS and Anna Maria BOST)

• was born about 1766 in Cabarrus Co., NC.
• He died in 1835 in Union Co., IL.
• He married ELIZABETH CRESS.

Notes for Elias HOUSE: It was previously noted that "Max Haus", Mark House, was a Revolutionary War Soldier and he lost an arm at the Battle of Charleston. It wasn't Mark (Marx) House (Haus) who lost an arm in the Revolution, but rather his son Elias, who did. Elias was drawing an invalid pension when he moved to Union County, IL, where he lived to be a very old man.
