Mr. and Mrs. Fred O. Eastland,17 Coolidge Avenue, Glens Falls. have received a letter from their daughter. Second Lt. Elinor J. DiCamillo, stating that she has arrived in Calcutta, India. Lt. DiCamlllo was sent overseas from Camp Beale, Calif. She received her commission on March 6 of this year and was called to active duty on March 13. Her basic training was received at Camp Swift Tex., from where she was transferred to Indlantown Gap, Pa., and then to Camp Beale.
A graduate of Glens Falls High School, Class of 1939, Lt. DlCamillo Is also a graduate of Ellis Hospital, School of Nursing, In Schenectady, in the class of September 1944. Following graduation she served In the hospital staff for a time. Previous to starting her nursing career, Lt DiCamlllo was employed by the Imperial Paper and Color Corporation
