Elisha married again:
"August 9th 1739. Then Elisha homes of Plimouth & Mary Ellis of Sanwich were Married by mr Benjamin Fessenden Minister at Sandwich."[2]

The will of Elisha Holmes of Plymouth, yeoman was dated and proved on He mentions his wife Mary, and his three surviving sons, Elisha (executor), Bartlett (executor), and Ellis (executor), his three surviving daughters, Sarah, Betty, and Mary, the heirs of deceased son Samuel, the heirs of his deceased son Nathaniel, and the heirs of his deceased daughter, Jerusha.[5]
His inventory was taken on 20 July 1779 in Plymouth.[6]
