Eliza Frantz

Eliza Petty was born on 7 February 1810 in Botetourt (later Roanoke) County, Virginia, the third of seven known children and the oldest of four daughters of Abner and Mary Smith Petty.
On 16 December, when was about six weeks short of her fourteenth birthday, she married Jacob Frantz.
She bore him eleven children, six sons and five daughters, including Thornton Frantz Johann Franz.
On 5 September 1848, when she was thirty-eight, she died in Roanoke County of unknown causes.
She was buried in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Roanoke City.
