Despite the birth being after Eliza's marriage she may have separated from John Molloy around the time she returned to QLD & may have used her maiden name for the birth as John may not have been the father. Or Margaret may have been the child of another Eliza who married a Gavan and whose husband had died between Margaret's conception and birth or there may have been another father.
