From the Rhode Island American, and General Advertiser, Providence, R.I. Kent:August 27, 1811, Vol. III, Issue 90:

DIED, -At Woodstock, Con. on the 16th instant, in the 88th year of her age, Mrs. Elizabeth ARNOLD, relict of the late James ARNOLD, Esq. of Warwick. The piety and moral virtues which were eminently displayed throughout the protracted life of this venerable lday, rendered her highly interesting to her family and acquaintance. On the Sunday following her remains were respectfully deposited in the family burying ground in Warwick.

A FAG photographer visited the cemetery 3/2013 and reported the following: The cemetery is very well kept but there are not a lot of stones left unbroken. Biography

Elizabeth Greene (Arnold) Arnold was born 23 November 1724, [1] to She was the daughter of Phillip Arnold and Susannah (Greene) Arnold.

She married Col. James Arnold, on March 24, 1744, [2] in Warwick, Kent, Rhode Island.[3]

Her husband died in 1793. James wrote his will 16 January 1793. [4] In it he mentions:

four sons: George, James, Philip, and Moses
grandson Stephen Arnold
wife Elizabeth
grandson Sion Arnold and Oliver Arnold, sons of my son Oliver Arnold deceased
grandchildren Elizabeth, Amey, Sarah, Susannah, William, and Andrew, children of my daughter Sarah Harris deceased
Elizabeth died on August 11, 1811.[5] [6]
