History:

Elizabeth Taylor born 1645 was d/o John Taylor I and wife Elizabeth. She married Simon Sallard 1st, Thomas Baker 2nd, and John Brown 3rd.

Note: She and Simon sold 450 acres of land originally patented to her brother, John Taylor, February 15, 1667. (Lancaster County, Virginia Colony Records, p. 286).

- WILLIAM JONES aged forty two sworn saith that Mr. THOMAS BAKER deced was chosen by Mr. JOHN PINKARD, BENJAMIN WALE and CHARLES SALLARD and your Deponent by MRS. ELIZABETH PINKARD for ye adjusting of ye Accounts between them and allotting them the Estates due to them out of their deceased Father's Estate in order to which wee over hailed Capt PINKARD's bookes and compared with ye Inventories of his Estate but could not find full sixty thousand pounds of tobacco to be justly due of what was inventoried excepting such tobacco as was due from such persons who were either absconded or died insolvent after which we deducted what toabacco was given by Will and such just debts as were paid by MRS. PINKARD and after computed each his proportion but cannot justly say what each just share of tobacco debts was and further saith not
