Eliza and Isaac Banta were married September 25, 1822 in Warrick County, Indiana. They had 13 children - Henry, Mary Ann (Langford), William, David Riley, Celestine (Gibson), John Walter, Jacob Rhinerson, Abia Louise (Fish, Stokes), Roxanna, George Gordon Wilson, Permelia Victoria (Holden), Elizabeth Perlina (McDonald, Sellers), and Isaac Flavius Josephus "Joseph". Isaac died July 16, 1855 in Burnet, Texas. Eliza married Zachariah McDonald July 12, 1859 in Burnet, Texas. In 1900 Eliza was a widow living with the Sellers family.

Eliza is buried near a large cross (note top left on photo) with a fenced grave site just behind it. Eliza's grave is just to the north of the fenced area. She is buried between the roads marked Heavenly Hills & Oaklawn.
