Elizabeth Basford

Elizabeth Clifford, daughter of John Clifford and Elizabeth Wiseman, was born on 31 August 1659 in Hampton, Rockingham co., NH[1] and died in Hampton Falls, Rockingham co., NH before March 1708; she was 48[1].
Elizabeth first married [not known][1] and second married Jacob BASFORD [1]. Jacob died after August 1731 in Chester, Rockingham co., NH[1]. She and Jacob received a deed from estate of her father, John Clifford, Sr. in 1686 to "maintain him and his wife throughout life". They were admitted to the Church at Hampton, Rockingham co., NH on 9 May 1697[1]. Jacob had lived in Carolina but was in Hampton Falls, Rockingham, NH by 1685. He was listed as a Proprietor at Chester, NH and lived there from August 1731 until his death[1].
