Ephraim Kimball served in Capt William Thurlow's company Bennington alarm 1777. He was a son of Ephraim and Mary Wetherbee Kimball, born in Lunenburg now Fitchburg February 15, 1752. He is known in Fitchburg annals as Deacon Ephraim Kimball. He married April 14, 1774 Elizabeth White born in Lunenburg March 19, 1757, daughter of John and Mary Whitney White. He was a prominent citizen of Fitchburg. He died May 6,, 1825 gravestone May 7, town records May 6. His widow died June 26, 1844 buried in Laurel Hill cemetery
Ephraim Porter and Alpheus were his sons.
