Elizabeth Birdsall

Elizabeth4 Langdon (Thomas3, Joseph2, Thomas1) was born Abt. 1702. She

married Captain John Birdsall, son of Benjamin Birdsall and Mercy Foreman.

He was born March 17, 1694 in Oyster Bay, New York, and died Abt. 1764.

Rosanna Pearce November 17, 1752 in Hempstead, Queens, New York.

10ii.John Birdsall, born 1730. He married Phebe Seaman February 8, 1751 in Hempstead, Queens, New York.

11iii.Elizabeth Birdsall, born April 15, 1731; died July 1, 1777. She

married (1) James Downing. She married (2) William Black Smith September

20, 1749; born August 14, 1727; died June 15, 1781.

12iv.Joshua Birdsall, born 1732. He married Unknown Sprague.

13v.Lt. Col. Benjamin Birdsall, born September 17, 1736; died July 20, 1798 in Jerusalem, Queens, New York. He married Freelove Jones January 5, 1763 in Hempstead, Queens, New York; born Abt. 1742; died October 21, 1821.

Capt. Samuel4 Seaman (Samuel3, Thomas2, John1) was born January 11, 1737/38 in Hempstead, Long Island, NY, and died February 19, 1828 in Hempstead, Long Island, NY. He married Mary Birdsall July 18, 1762 in St. George's [Episcopal] Church, Hempstead, Long Island, NY, daughter of John Birdsall and Elizabeth Pearse. She was born September 21, 1746, and died October 16, 1819.

Will of Elisabeth Birdsall, widow of John3 dated 1795, gave property to dau. Rosanna, son Samuel and dau. Mary, wife of Capt. Samuel Seaman. To grand children, Benjamin, Samuel and James Mott. Elisabeth Birdsall, dau. of Samuel, Elisabeth Pierce, wife of Samuel and Elijah Seaman and Thomas Seaman.

1767. Thomas and Elisabeth Allen sold to Joseph Birdsall, land bounded south by Jacob Seaman's land near the school house, west by the main road, then northerly, easterly and southerly, then westerly by land of Solomon Seaman, and Thomas and Samuel Seaman, to Jacob Seaman's land, then west by that to the road about 41 acres, 2d piece on the west side of the road, the north east corner near Samuel Seaman's barn, bounded north by Samuel's, west by Thomas's and Jacob's, south by road that leads from Jerusalem to Hempstead, 48 acres.
