Elizabeth Maria Burton

Elizabeth Maria Graves was a daughter of The Very Reverend Richard Graves DD of Dublin, Co Wicklow, Ireland, and his wife Elizabeth Mary Drought of Kings County / co Offaly, Ireland

Elizabeth Maria Graves married firstly to The Reverend Thomas Meredith MA, DD, FTCD, on July 7, 1807 in Dublin; there were 7 children of the marriage

Widowed in 1819 at the age of 27, Eliza Mary married secondly at Dublin in 1824 to The Reverend James EDMUND Burton; they had 5 children, all of whom were born in Rawdon Township, north of Montreal, Quebec, Canada

She died at 84 Great King Street, New Town, Edinburgh, Scotland, at the home of one of her sons by her second marriage, on 31 March 1855
