Elizabeth Butler

Elizabeth Molyneux was the daughter of Sir Thomas Molyneux and Anne Dutton she Married James Butler Of Rawcliffe Hall in a Marriage Settlement dated 15th January, 1489. James Butler was born at Rawcliffe Hall in 1468 His father was John Boteler who died young like his father before him, who was Nicholas Boteler born at Rawcliffe Hall. Throughout this time John Boteler Of Rawcliffe Hall who had married Elizabeth Boteler the daughter of William Boteler Of Bewsey Hall Warrington in the year 1423 outlived his wife son and grandson and died in the year 1488 aged 90. Rawcliffe Hall then passed to his great grandson James Butler the husband of Elizabeth Molyneux.
