Elizabeth Dalrymple

What is the evidence for a marriage between Elizabeth and a George Hendersen? (Spelt with an O in the following sources, which may or may not be verifiable). There seems to be some confusion here......

Per ancestry.com, a George AndersOn was Elizabeth Dalrymple's 2nd husband.....but no proof of this is provided.

The 2nd link above shows her as having married Alan 7th Lord Cathcart on 12/26/1670 ** in Ochiltree, Ayrshire, and states that she had at least 4 children with him: born in 1673 (Alan), 1680 (Margaret Dalrymple), 1681 (James) and 1686 (Charles, 8th Lord Cathcart).
(Alan died at sea, Aug 1699; James was killed in a duel, June 1716, thus Charles was the only inheritor).

Above also shows her as having married (?) a George AndersOn (with an 'O') in 1676 in Ayr, and that she had 5 children with him: born in 1677 (George), 1678 (James), 1681 (William), 1682 (George), and 1688 (Isobell).

Not sure how the math works in all the above, but something doesn't seem quite right ..biologically, it would seem improbable although not impossible that Elizabeth had children from two husbands in the years/sequence shown above. But if she marrrried a 2nd husband (George) on the date indicated, surely she would have been a bigamist? Or could George have been a longterm lover? Without verification, there are unanswered questions.

Sources have been requested from the manager of George and William Andersen profiles, in order to clarify the inconsistencies..........
