Elizabeth Goose

Elizabeth was the daughter of George and 1st wife Mary Goose (alt. Gantz, Ganz=Goose). Elizabeth married John Nicholas DeLong about 1778 in Frederick County, Virginia. They had 10 children:

10. Nancy DeLong b. 1800-1804

In 1827 - Elizabeth Margarate's estate was appraised by Thomas Sperry, Jacob Shambaugh and Daniel S. Hammack at $223.84, recorded 5 Mar, (B:400) so she must have died late 1826 or early 1827. Jacob Hammack (son-in-law) was administrator. Among the settlements were Dr. Catlett's medicine bill for $7.75, a shroud for $6.25, $57.02 to John DeLong for his account, $5.00 for doctor's bill from Ohio. Did she perhaps die in Ohio? She must at least have visited there as a widow. $48.70 was paid against property belonging to Nancy DeLong, deceased, which had been sold by mistake.
