Not the same as Elizabeth Williams
Some thirty plus years ago we assumed Elizabeth Abernathy, daughter of Robert Abernathy and Mary Miles was the wife of Henry Dixon, sr. That was before evidence that she was married to Charles Williams. Unfortunately I helped spread this false information before we knew the truth. So sorry to see it has spread to Familysearch, Ancestry and other platforms. Until evidence is found Henry Dixon' Sr's wife should be just Elizabeth, with no maiden name.
