On February 3, 1729, he and his wife, Mary, made a deed naming son William administrator, and giving him the homestead, " except the part near Oliver's Neck that son Bejamin, Jr., used to mow".
After William died , the deed was not invoked until June 24, 1761, when daughter Elizabeth Dowst and her husband Ozem Dowst asked the court to settle the estate. Final division was made on August 1762.
