Elizabeth's maiden name, Ijams, intrigued me. So I googled it and found a possible ancestral link. If someone has time to pursue it might be interesting. Here's the internet address of the possible family link.

My theory is that one of Vachel's sons is Elizabeth's father. I mean how many Ijams could there have been running around in Maryland in the later 17th century?
