She died at her home in Louisville.

She was born on May 26, 1935, in New Ipswich, NH, a daughter of Frederick and Arlene Somero Somero. She attended New Ipswich schools and graduated from Appleton Academy in New Ipswich.

She married Earl R. Dane on July 9, 1952.

She was a lab technician at Mill Ipore in Jaffrey, NH. She was employed in the catalog department of the J.C. Penney Co. in the St. Lawrence Centre mall.

Surviving was her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Terence (Judith) Fogg; four sons, Michael, Gordon, Timothy, and Christopher; 11 grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Clem Rauhola, Mrs. Ralph (Bertha) Parhila, and Mrs. Marvin (Martha) Salmonson; a brother, Martin Somero; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A sister, Eleanor Kangas, died before her.
