About Elizabeth Medstand Griffin
Exactly which Lee family, or what branch of which Lee family, she belongs to is unknown. The famous Stratford Hall Lees were not the most prolific - that was, and is, the Nansemond Lees, who may have been very distant relatives. (But there were twenty or so other Lee families, some related and some not.)
